I want many experiences. I think it’s very important for myself to feel afraid, to feel hopeful. I’m finding strength in my malleable nature. I want my paintings, my photographs, my journals to show people what I see, how I see.

Chelsea Whelham is a multimedia visual artist living in Eastern Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has continued her education both locally and abroad. Chelsea was born in Seattle and raised in the state of Washington. Her work is influenced by her innate desire to understand and better herself.
